Ah The Finder. Willamette Week's annual guide to all that is irreverent in Portland. Free in the warmer months, you can now get them for 5 bucks at Powell's. In it you can find tourist-worthy things like, best drinkable dirt, best gypsy cemetery, best survival kit, and best Tarantino set. I love assignments where my shot list includes things like tire swings, and urban goats. If you look really closely you can see my better half, Christopher Onstott, making a cameo in two of the images. It's like a post-modern Where's Waldo.

Got asked to photograph writer @laurawheatmanhill for a story she wrote for @insiderbusiness on the importance of a prenup (spoiler alert, it’s important). The editor requested something a little more creative that showed the tricky side of balancing money. We took that as an opportunity to play and Laura was game to drape and languish. Can’t help but laugh every time we look at these. And isn’t that the goal whenever you think of a prenup?

Had the absolute pleasure of photographing the gracious, tough and beautiful Walio Mohamed for @newlinesmagazine. In 2017 she was the target of a hate crime on the MAX train in Portland, OR. The attack left two dead, another injured and the city in shock. But Walio was largely written out of the story. Five years later she is finally speaking out. Recently did a portrait shoot for Edward Anthony, a recording artist and actor who is putting out an album titled “Them” featuring a collection of duets with his former self before he transitioned. We feel pretty honored to be part of Edward’s next chapter.

A few months ago I got the awesome job of photographing the #womensfinalfour for @nytimes at the @sportsbrapdx the first all women’s sports bar in the country. All I can say is… about damn time.
